Abstract

In many real-life situations, users submit inclusive queries to search for "inclusive" information from different Web objects within a Web site. Hence, Web navigation with inclusive query is needed. In this paper, we focus on structural top-k Web navigation with inclusive query. Specifically, we develop a Web structuring model, in which a Web site consisting of many Web objects and hyperlinks is represented as a graph consisting of nodes and arcs. To measure the degree of relevance among these Web objects, we compute inclusive arc weights of the corresponding hyperlinks. To facilitate Web searches for "inclusive" information in the Web structuring model, we also design a top-k tree algorithm to provide users with recommendations and directions for Web navigation. Experimental results show the effectiveness of our structural top-k Web navigation with inclusive query.
