Abstract

This paper presents implementation, test and validation results of a Vector-Tracking-Loop (VTL) with a real-time software GNSS receiver. The VTL method represents a deep coupling of navigation processor with the signal processing by using a global loop closure through the navigation processor, thereby eliminating individual internal signal tracking loops and making it possible to achieve tight interaction between the signal tracking channels. The Institute of Geodesy and Navigation Experimental Software Receiver (ipexSR) is used as the experimental baseline of this work.
