Abstract

We have reported far-infrared transmission measurements on a c-axis-oriented superconducting (formula presented) thin film in the frequency range (formula presented) We found that these measurements were sensitive to the scattering rate (formula presented) and the superconducting gap 2Δ. By fitting the experimental transmission spectra at 40 K and below, we obtained (formula presented) and (formula presented) to be (formula presented) and (formula presented) respectively. These two quantities suggest that the (formula presented) film belongs to the dirty limit.
