Abstract

We experimentally investigate the 2-D modal power coupling of LG₁₁ and HG₁₁ beams under dynamic aerosol and water curvature, and demonstrate a 1-Gbit/s LG₁₁FSO link, having a penalty of ~3-dB compared with no-effect cases.
