Abstract

Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have become significant and attractive technologies for the removal of cyanotoxins and cyanobacteria in contaminated waters due to their outstanding performance in this field. Details are presented in this chapter regarding the introduction of each AOP and important studies and applications of different AOPs for the treatment of cyanotoxins and cyanobacteria in recent years.
